IKEA Duvet

When my children were little, we spent a lot of time at IKEA. 99 cent breakfasts and running them out of energy were my strategies for surviving winter. Many of our home staples also came from those trips. One particular duvet was purchased and used until it was no longer white, but that weird dingy grey that no amount of laundering will resolve. I took apart that duvet and dyed it with indigo. It’s now transformed into this quilt and yet it still carries all those memories as well.
