Textiles carry so many of our lived experiences, but they also carry the weight of their production. I’m drawn to use the textiles from our lives in ways that indulge nostalgia, but also elevate the way we all view used resources. My work is sustained by my role as a mother of three and my need to always hold on to the sentimental (it’s all sentimental).
