Life in Pieces 2
Recently, I’ve been trying to reframe the way I look at things Not everything I consider a personal weakness actually falls into that category. I have strong hoarder tendencies. I truly struggle to let go of anything that might be useful. I force myself, though, to only do this if I can actually find or create utility. This quilt is an example of that desire. The background fabric is an old IKEA curtain. The denim is all reclaimed from old jeans - and most of it is a scrap from another project.
Hand quilted with sashiko thread, I added extra quilting density only because even though I was “finished”, I wasn’t ready to stop working.
Dimensions: 47” x 47”
